Maid of Honor
MacKenzie and Megan have known each other since they were born, their grandmothers were best friends, and their parents have been friends for years - but, it wasn't until they both were accepted at Cal Poly that they became inseparable. They were roommates for all four years and the rest is history!
Best Man
Brothers. Two different drums, but brothers and best friends none-the-less. Ben has always provided Luke with the "alright, alright, alright" perspective he's needed and there couldn't be a better person to stand by his side on the big day.
Bridesmaid
MacKenzie met Shannon in kindergarten and after both learning how to share, they became lifelong friends. Their friendship extended to becoming teammates when they played soccer, softball, and basketball together. No matter the distance, from California to Georgia, they have always remained close.
Groomsman
Luke and Kellen met at Fort Rucker during flight school then became close friends and roommates. This friendship resulted in Luke and MacKenzie meeting one another making Kellen an integral part of this story. After 5 years Kellen is now okay with his old roommate marrying his little sister.
Bridesmaid
Emma is MacKenzie's soon-to-be sister-in-law and has quickly become a part of the family. MacKenzie is so thankful that her brother has found someone as lovely as Emma and she looks forward to making more memories together.
Groomsman
Luke and Jonathan met in elementary school and their friendship has continued to grow since that time. Watching the Bulldogs play and sneaking in as many holes of golf as possible keeping Luke and Jonathan close to this day.
Bridesmaid
Paige was always family, but she became a sister to MacKenzie and she cherishes the time they had living together. Paige and MacKenzie are only a few years apart in age, they shared years at the same high school and suddenly shared time at the bars downtown! The time has flown by but they will continue to make new memories no matter where they are.
Groomsman
Coree and Luke were Company-mates at West Point for 3 years, but became close their Firstie (senior) year when they were roommates. From that point on, Luke and Coree were in it for the long run, spending a month together in San Diego on block leave before sharing a house in flight school and starting their Army careers. They both still dream about going AWOL and being beach bums in San Diego together.
Bridesmaid
Olivia is MacKenzie's youngest sister and they not only shared a room, but also share the same sense of humor and unique singing voice. They have so many special memories and no matter where they are, they will continue to make more.
Groomsman
Jake and Luke became close friends at the start of their time at West Point thanks to the old Ford E150 Van Luke illegally parked outside the front gate. Jake and Luke's adventures took them to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where they bonded prioritizing skiing over academics; they are both now partially proficient at driving in the snow, and very proficient at changing tires and calling tow trucks.
Bridesmaid
Adri and MacKenzie became best friends in kindergarten, where they always had each other's back. They would come home from school, where they were together all day long, then proceed to hop on the land line and talk all evening long. MacKenzie and Adri went to elementary, middle, and high school together and have remained close through it all!
Groomsman
Ben and Luke both went to West Point and shared aspirations to fly MEDEVAC; fortunately they achieved that aspiration and were "stick buddies" together in flight school. Stick buddies are flight students paired together with an instructor - one student tries to crash the helicopter while the other student prays sitting as a passenger. Ben and Luke did not kill one another are great friends to this day.
Groomsman
Luke and Pat were Platoon Leaders in the same company and worked together for years while in Savannah, Georgia. Although Luke and Pat went to West Point together, it wasn’t until Pat married Kay and had his first child that Luke discovered Pat was not as cold as his New Jersey demeanor made him appear at West Point (thanks Kay!). Now they’re best friends and Luke is the Godfather of Pat and Kay’s second child, Oliver!
