Gorgeous drive out to Tucson Mountain Park filled with huge saguaros and mountains. Hiking trails are moderate. Great scenic spot for a car picnic and snapping pics! This is where Prab popped the question!
Mission San Xavier del Bac is a historic Spanish Catholic mission located about 10 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona, on the Tohono O'odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation.
Tumamoc Hill is a butte located immediately west of "A" Mountain and downtown Tucson, Arizona. The trail is paved, but be prepared for moderate to difficult uphill walking. Once you reach the top, the view is spectacular!
Arcosanti is an ongoing experiment in the application of the principles of arcology (architecture + ecology), open to the public year-round. About a 3 hr drive from Tucson. Great place to visit for creatives!
