Am I allowed to bring my child?

Answer

We are hoping that parents are able to take this opportunity to enjoy a fun, adult-only date night out! There is a daycare on premises for your child to be during the ceremony and reception if necessary. The only children allowed will be a part of the wedding party and must leave no later than 930pm. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Will I be able to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love everyone to be present, and enjoy the moment authentically, not through a screen. This will be an "unplugged" ceremony, so PLEASE allow the photographer and videographer do their jobs. This request goes for the other special moments as well. Including, but not limited to the first dance, wedding party entrance, cutting of the cake, etc. We appreciate your cooperation in advance! Our professional photos and wedding video will be placed on this website for everyone to see once available to us. We hope you enjoy them as much as we will!

Additional Photo Opportunities

Answer

We will have a "photo booth" available from 7p-12a with an attendant to assist with questions. Pictures will print on site for you to take home. We will receive a digital copy of all photos taken, and we look forward to seeing everyone's photo booth fun! We will provide a very special hand-made backdrop for you to take photos with outside of the photo booth area as well! Our videographer will have a video camera set up for everyone to come leave us messages that we will watch together on our "big" honeymoon in August. We are SO looking forward to seeing all the loving messages and your best marriage advice!! Please use this as your way to say "goodbye" at the end of the evening as your bride and groom will be busting a move on the dance floor!

Cocktail attire, but please no all-white (this should be a given, but just in case).

Is there an open bar?

Answer

YES! There will be specialty drinks created by the bridal party as well as a full service bar for you to enjoy, including NA beers and cocktails; just don't forget to tip your bartender!

Is there transportation from the venue to the hotels?

Answer

We first and foremost want everyone to be safe on their way home, so we ask you to please not drink and drive! Mt. Pleasant offers services such as taxi's, Uber, etc. The venue does provide a shuttle service that travels to Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, Slot Palace, Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park, The Retreat at Soaring Eagle, and the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways at no additional charge. Shuttle service times are 8am-midnight.
