We met on the evening of August 25th, 2020, at a Tampa rooftop bar called Bulla. Kenzie and a group of friends insisted on going to Green Lemon for Taco Tuesday that night, but shortly after arriving, Kenzie's cousin who manages Green Lemon told them it was going to be a few minutes before a table opened up... That's when Kenzie led her friends across the street to the rooftop bar! If only she knew she was on her way to meet the love of her life... Shortly after getting up to the rooftop bar, a friend who was with Kenzie noticed one of her co-workers was at the rooftop bar as well. Kenzie took a quick look, but unfortunately could not see without her glasses. After a good 15 minutes and two tequila shots later, Kenzie's table was finally ready at Green Lemon, but her friend insisted on saying hi to her co-worker before leaving. Low and behold that co-worker was Drew! When Kenzie and her friend's approached Drew, it wasn't long until Drew locked eyes on Kenzie and lost his breath (as Kenzie likes to say). Within seconds, Drew put out his hand and said "Wow, uh, hi my name's Drew, it's very nice to meet you" and Kenzie smiled back saying "Hi I'm Kenzie". Next thing you know Drew and his friend were sharing a table with Kenzie and her friend's at Green Lemon, sippin' on Margs and eatin' $2 tacos, which then continued to an after party at Dead Bob's Too, which then continued to an after party at Kenzie's. Drew was a true gentleman and listened to Kenzie's stories for hours on her balcony before mentioning he had an hour to get to his 5:45am workout class (true story). Also please note, the couple shared their first kiss earlier that evening at Dead Bobs hahaha. The following week Kenzie and Drew went on their first real date at Hula Bay and a few short weeks later on Monday, September 29th, 2020, Drew asked Kenzie to be his girlfriend on a pizza box saying "Will you be my girlfriend or is this too cheesy?". And the rest is history! :)
