Maid of Honor
Gullet and I have been best friends since high school, and if there’s one thing we take seriously, it’s our mission to find the best chili cheese fries out there. When we’re together, you can almost always find us in a diner, taste-testing fries or just hanging out. Even though life has taken us in different directions for a while, we’ve never skipped a beat—she’s always just a phone call away, ready with support or sarcasm (depending on what’s needed!). I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Mark
Groomsman
Throughout the years, Mark has been a neighbor at the cabin and later a roommate, letting me crash at his new house during summer breaks. Mark is always down for one more: one more cast, one more game, or just one more beer. I'm happy to be the friend with a truck that Mark relies on every time he moves, even when I'm across the country.
Frankie
Bridesmaid
Frankie and I became friends during our undergrad at Michigan Tech, bonding over road trips across the Upper Peninsula that were usually decided by flipping a coin. Whether we were skipping class to catch the northern lights or enjoying a drink (or three), we were always up for an adventure. Frankie had the code to my apartment, and I had a key to hers when I needed more space—or just a little sunlight! She’s been my partner in crime for years, and I’m so excited to have her here for the biggest adventure yet.
Blake
Groomsman
Around middle school, the twins started bringing Blake around. He’s an avid outdoorsman and a great fishing partner, joining us at the cabin regularly and always down to wake up early and get on the water. As long as Blake puts on sunscreen hourly or stays out of the sun, he’s a welcome part of any summer day at the lake.
Mike
Groomsman
Mike was a random roommate my freshman year of college. We texted for a month before school, planning what each of us would bring, and then got to campus and didn’t talk to each other for a week. In the end, we lived together for five years, quickly realizing we had no idea how to fish in the Upper Peninsula. Even though Mike now lives in Indiana and I can’t seem to pick a state, we still bounce ideas off each other for work and proofread each other’s emails, just like we’re still in the dorm room.
Lilly
Bridesmaid
We haven’t known each other for forever, but it didn’t take long to see how sweet, kind, and caring she is. Plus, anyone who loves cats as much as I do is obviously top-tier. She’s funny, easy to be around, and always down for a good time—basically the perfect bridesmaid. I’m so happy to have her as part of this day and even happier to have her in my life!
Andy
Groomsman
Andy has happily put up with me since we moved in next door at the cabin. Without a doubt, he’s the wildcard—always coming up with the next questionable plan, including talking me into a keg stand at one point. He’s always the first to grab a drink and start the party, and I never miss an excuse for us to get together.
Anthony
Groomsman
Growing up, Anthony was the big cousin I went on vacations with, making so many great memories together. As we got older, I became the big cousin, dragging him hunting and fishing while he taught me how to play Pokémon and Magic. Even though we have different tastes in hobbies and pastimes, we’ve always had fun hanging out, talking, and having a few drinks.
