FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the wedding ceremony as we will be out in the park and walking through the sagebrush (on designated trails, of course). If you would like to bring a different set of shoes for the reception, you are more than welcome to do so! Also, late September in Wyoming can be a bit chilly, so make sure to bring a jacket/coat/wrap to keep you warm.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Nope! Having you with us by our side as we celebrate our next chapter is the best gift we could ask for! If you feel so inclined, you may make a donation to The National Park Foundation, The National Park Conservation Association, or The National Museum of Wildlife Art.

Question

Will there be transportation to/from the wedding site/reception?

Answer

Yes! A bus will be provided for all our guests to transport you to and from our event sites. The bus will come to pick up guests at the Elk Lodge Hotel an hour before the ceremony. More details on exact timing to follow soon!

Question

Will I need an entrance pass to enter the park for the wedding?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony we will be covering entrance to the park for the day of. However, if you already have a National Parks Pass, please let us know. If you would like to explore the park on your own during your stay in Wyoming, entrance fees will be between $20-$35, and are good for seven days. Please consult with the Grand Teton National Park website for up-to-date information!
