Travel Note
Unfortunately in Aurora, there are no Ubers or Lyfts (talk about a small town!). However, you should have no problem getting a cab or Uber from the airport to the hotel. Transportation to the welcome party and wedding will be provided for guests staying at the Bertram Hotel. Additionally, guests will be able to reserve shuttle rides from the hotel back to Cleveland Hopkins Airport the day after the wedding. Shuttles can fit approximately 8 guests and can be expected to cost ~$70 per car, regardless of how many guests are sharing the ride. More details on how to reserve to come! If guests wish to leave the hotel at times other than for wedding events, we advise them to consider bringing or renting a car.
Hotel
We have a wedding block at the Bertram Inn and Conference Center. To get the wedding block price, please call and let the front desk know you are with the Schumaker/Saflarski Wedding Block. There are limited options for additional hotels in Aurora and, as a reminder, we will provide transportation from this hotel to the welcome event and wedding. If you would like to explore other hotel options, we would recommend looking in Solon or Twinsburg, Ohio. Please keep in mind, Ubers are not readily available in these areas.

Flight
Cleveland Hopkins is the closest airport and is about 40 minutes from the hotel and wedding location. Akron Canton is about 50 minutes. Guests will be able to reserve shuttles from the Bertram Hotel to Cleveland Hopkins Airport the day after the wedding. For our Chicago friends and family who are considering driving, it is around 5 hours and 30 minutes.
