Maid of Honor
If there was ever a "duh" moment in planning, it was having Raquel stand by my side. She has been my best friend since high school when we first figured out our crazy addiction to going anywhere that gave us a reason to wear our cowgirl boots! You could definitely say we were "regulars" at a Rockin' Rodeo or Lonestar concert, a ladies' night at Red River, or a college night at Electric Cowboy. We instantly became inseparable! Raquel is the funniest, most caring, sweetest girl that always has my best interest at heart. Beautiful inside and out - she's a true GEM and I'm so lucky to call her my best friend!
Best Man
I couldn't have picked a better person to stand next to me on the big day. Elston has been one of my biggest influencers in my short time in the fire service. He's well known as "Dad" at work. He is one of those guys that is just a phone call away no matter the time of day.
Bridesmaid
Michelle is my big sister - despite the 15 year age gap (and the times she's had to "parent" me), we are best friends! Since I was a little girl, she's been such a role model to me - I wanted to be just like her then and she's still such an inspiration to me now. She's my go-to girl whenever I need an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on. I'm so thankful for her guidance and love through the years. Michelle is so bighearted and even promised me a sisters’ trip to New York not once but TWICE (17 years ago and 2 years ago)!! She’s so sweet! We still haven't gone, but I hope she knows I haven't forgotten and that whenever we do go, we're going to have the best time ever!!!
Groomsman
Where do I start? Newman is another one of those people that you can count on to give you the shirt of his back. We've spent countless hours hunting, most recently in the 20-degree temps when I fell in the river trying to retrieve a coon we shot lol. We've known each other forever but our friendship has grown a lot in the last couple of years.
Bridesmaid
Megan is also my big sister and best friend! She's super caring and compassionate and I know that whenever I'm with her, I'm going to have the best laugh. I also know that if she's cooking, I'm going to eat GOOOOD - she's the one that got the cooking skills in the family (sorry Kobe)! When I was growing up, Megan was SO cool to me. She took me and picked me up from elementary school often. She had the coolest Mark LT and never failed to blast "Baby Got Back", "Party Like A Rockstar", or "Ridin' Dirty" while in the school line - slightly embarrassing, but man those other kids never had it like that and I wouldn't have it any other way! She's the best most fun big sister a girl could ask for!
Groomsman
Dillon and I have been buds forever. It started out on Braune Street. We spent countless hours stealing Pawpaw Sams nails to go build who knows what. We've dug to China in Grams backyard, built a plane out of whatever we could find, took all the blankets and sheets we could find to go hand in a tree in the neighborhood for our "treehouse". You name it we've probably done it.
Bridesmaid
Jessie & I have been ride-or-die besties since 2016! I never knew what we were going to get into and that’s always been my favorite part about our friendship, we were always on the move and ready for a good time! She’s been my partner in crime at all the lakes in North Texas, Rednecks w/ Paychecks, NASCAR, and Electric Cowboy. Oh, and don’t get me started about the presidential election night parties… Apparently, we’re very patriotic. She’s my forever friend that I definitely lived my best life with as a young single girl - now we're "all grown up" and still as close as ever! I can always count on Jess to be there and to have an absolutely unforgettable time with!
Groomsman
Colten and I grew up together also. You could find us heavily engaged in an airsoft war against our dads, jamming out with our "band" or cruising down the street on our mini choppers. We were bad to the bone. Thankful for all the memories we have had over the years!
Bridesmaid
Yese and I met in class at the University of North Texas in 2018. It was her last semester and I'm so beyond thankful that we FINALLY crossed paths before we both graduated - the good Lord knew I needed her in my life! You could usually find us at Rusty's after class or her apartment watching chick flicks, but if not... we're most definitely on Fry Street. Before I knew who I'd marry, I knew I couldn't do it without Yese! She has the sweetest heart, the best advice, and is truly such an inspiration to me. I'm so thankful for our friendship and her positive influence that’s always encouraging me to be my best self!
Groomsman
Carson where do I even start. We've fought, terrorized mom with pop-its, and spent a lot of time doing all kinds of stuff. You are definitely the athlete of the family. I'm glad you're finally getting to the point of not being too cool to hang out with your big brother anymore. I love ya and I'm proud of the young man you are becoming.
Bridesmaid
Grace and I met a few years back through mutual friends. After moving onto different paths, we managed to keep our friendship through the years (thank goodness!!). I have always been so drawn to her because of her fun personality, genuine heart, and positive presence. She is such a sweet friend who always has my back and is one of the most supportive girls in my life. I'm so thankful for our forever friendship. She is the ultimate "hype girl" that I've always needed in my life and I'm so happy to have her stand with me on my big day!
Groomsman
Briley and I have always been pretty close. I will always blame him for a bad throw that led to my knee getting blown out lol. We had a few fights on the trampoline that led to us hating each other for a few hours but I guess non of them were bad enough that we hated each other after.
Flower Girl
Livia is my little niece (Megan's daughter). She's 8 years old and it's been so fun watching her grow. She's super smart, caring, spunky, and the most beautiful young girl I know! I'm so proud of her and absolutely cannot wait for her to stand with me on my wedding day looking like a little mini-me with our twin dresses!
Flower Girl
Remi is my littlest niece (Michelle's daughter) - she'll be 8 months old when Kobe and I say "I do"! She's the sweetest baby ever - the kind that gives you instant baby fever!! She's an absolute angel and I'm so excited to watch her grow up!
Ring Bearer
Hud the Stud - the one that calls me "mommy"!! He's 8 years old and is my greatest blessing. This kid has the sweetest heart and is always looking out for his mama - he's protective, brave, caring, and extremely smart! I'm so proud of the little man that he's become and so thankful God chose me to be his mom. It was so important to me to have Hudson's blessing to marry Kobe and he made it very clear that Kobe was perfect for the both of us!
