Kenz and I became really close friends junior year of college. She was there for me during some really hard times in my life and I can’t ever thank her enough for being there for me. I know I can always go to her for a laugh, a cry, a hug, whatever I need. She also enjoys a margarita as much as I do which is why we are such amazing friends.

Shane and I have known each other since middle school and we have gone to the same schools ever since. We lived together through college, we have both had our fair share of knee injuries. We have definitely grown closer because of it. For the first time since middle school, we haven’t been in the same city, but that hasn’t changed anything about our friendship.

Lauren and I met through the sorority and became inseparable. She is someone that I admire so much and I look up to her, both literally and figuratively. We have some of the best memories from college and those I will cherish for the rest of my life. I can’t wait for many more trips, weekends, thanksgivings, Christmases, and other celebrations together.

Cody transferred into Woodbury Central High School as a sophomore and was introduced to me as Shane’s cousin. As school progressed, we became better friends, even though he was a year younger than me. When we both ended up going to the University of Iowa, he became one of my best friends along with Shane. He is always someone who is down to have a good time and someone I know I can count on when I need him.

Sara is someone I know I can always turn to for a good laugh. Her upbeat and positive energy is something I always look forward to when we are together. Although we always enjoy talking about her crazy shenanigans and pranks, I know I can always turn to her in a time of need. I am forever grateful that we became friends in high school and continue to be amazing friends today.

Lane head-butted me in a 5th grade wrestling tournament and we have been amazing friends ever since. We graduated high school together, and even though we went to different colleges, we have stayed friends throughout.

Mandy always brightens up my day when I see her. From the long hugs to the “Hi bb”, I can never get enough of it! I am forever grateful that I gained a lifelong friend through Kenz and I am so excited that we will only live two hours from you guys, cause you know we will be making trips to see you guys every weekend;)
John Guizar

John and I were suite mates in the dorms freshman year of college at the University of Iowa. He introduced Kenzie and I to one another, and when we got engaged, we jokingly said it would only make sense if John officiated the wedding. We ultimately landed on the Pastor that has known Kenzie her whole life, but we still needed John to be a part of our day.

Ashley has been an amazing friend since high school. We stayed connected all throughout college and she is someone I know I can always have a great time with. My favorite story of us is when we were at a bar one night, we were talking about the guys in our life and I was telling her about Gable. She said to me “you should just go for it and go on a date with him!” Little did she know that we would be getting married two years later!

Angel and I were randomly assigned as roommate freshman year of college. One of my favorites stories we share is that he once used my ID to get into a bar… and was successful. He’s been an incredible friend and is a wonderful person.
