What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie or cocktail, whichever you prefer. Please no jeans or t-shirts. Please stick to cool colors (blue, green, purple) or cool neutrals (black, gray)

Do we need to bring something?

Answer

We do have a registry set up, but bringing a gift is completely optional, you are not required to bring anything. We just want to celebrate & have a good time with friends & family.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will be having a cash bar for this event, rough costs are wine $5 a glass, liquor $6 per glass with mixer, and beer $3 each.

Is there a theme or color scheme?

Answer

There is a color scheme but not a specific theme. Our wedding colors are dark blue & dark green (like our wedding stones, moss agate & blue sandstone) but no one is required to match those colors, we would prefer cool colors (green, blue, purple), cool neutrals are included in that (black and gray)

Is it child friendly?

Answer

Yes, we will be allowing children at the event, just be aware that there will also be alcohol and most of the music may not be appropriate for children.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If the invite is addressed to a single person, that does include a plus one. If the invite is addressed to a family, that includes the families children & partners.

Is there a schedule?

Answer

No, its a reception technically, but its more or less just a big party, we wont be doing first dances, speeches or any of that.

If I get something, does it have to be off the registry?

Answer

No. You're not required to bring a gift, and in the event you do, it does not have to be from the registry. The registry is just there to give an idea of things we'd be interested in, and certain preferences we have, i.e. goth/halloween type decor, iridescent kitchen items, fruity or wood scented candles, but it is not required to purchase that exact item, we will appreciate any gifts, but they are not a requirement.
