Liv and Kenzie met when they combined living situations with other roommates into one household, and the rest was history. While living together they bonded over their live for animals, adventures, the outdoors, bad Chinese food, and dad jokes, and now Kenzie can’t imagine her life without Olivia.

Fabian is Cyril's wonderful younger brother. The second Kenzie came into Cyril's life, Fabian and Cyril became closer. "Cyril and Kenzie have a beautiful balance of life, mixing relationships with friends, experiencing the world, and time together in harmony. I'm so grateful that Cyril has found a person to build a life with, especially one as caring as Kenzie. I always look forward to the time we share together, filled with constant laughter and love."

Mary Delano

Kenzie met Mary's husband when she asked to pet their Goldendoodle puppy at Outdoor Gear Exchange; they talked about puppies and ski touring equipment for Mary. When Winchell picked Mary up later he said "I just met your Vermont best friend". Kenzie and Mary had a blind dog date at the Waterbury dog park. They got to talking and it felt like they had known each other for a long time. Not only did they become fast friends, but the dogs were instant besties. Whether it's hiking with the dogs, socially-distanced skinning during COVID, sending each other funny memes and reels on Instagram, or taking care of our dog while Mary and Winchell welcomed their little one into the world, Kenzie is an integral part of life in Vermont for their family. Mary says " I'm so honored to get to stand by her side while she marries someone equally as goofy, adventurous and caring as she is. You found a good one, Kenz ❤".

Keith and Cyril originally met through the Outing Club at UVM and became fast friends through a love of questionable adventures, skiing, and sunsets by the lake. Over the next ten years, they would race mountain bikes, ski in Switzerland and Norway, and enjoy countless dinner dates together. They continue to do all of these things today, along with consistently mentoring each other on their professional endeavors, while always striving to find the right balance.

Emma and Kenzie met at Lee's Adventure Sports in Kalamazoo. "It has been over a decade that I have been able to call Kenzie a best friend. As more time passes (and the more people I encounter) I am reminded of the exceptional qualities she processes that make our friendship so special to me. Kenzie's unique brand of hilarity and goofiness not only makes me laugh like no one else but also allows me to lean into my own silliness and reminds me not to take life so seriously. Her confidence inspires me to live authentically and her resolve encourages me to view life's challenges as opportunities not obstacles. Her intelligence and wit are unmatched and wildy fun to be around. Kenzie's loyalty as a friend never wavers and for that I am so grateful. I am honored to be a part of Kenzie's next chapter and to help celebrate a love as incredible as she is. "

Aaron met Cyril at UVM and it's been adventures ever since. Guiding BSAAP together in 2012. In 2013 they spent half of the winter skiing in Alta together. In 2015, Cyril graciously let Aaron crash in the basement of his's new house in Stowe for the summer. Since 2017, they been daily adventure buddy's, from mountain biking in Quebec to skiing in Norway.

We met in college when I was struggling to be myself, and I can honestly say I have never clicked so quickly with someone in my life. Kenzie always brings out the best in me, and she helped me feel more at home during We get to be weird together, we support each other through the good times and the bad, and no matter how much time passes, we pick right up where we left off. I love Kenzie and I am BEYOND thrilled to be a part of Kenzie and Cyril’s special day!"

Dave's friendship (loveship) with Cyril was solidified when he got a photo of his published in Backcountry Magazine—the rest is history. Since then they've bike packed and skied and traveled to dark, damp and wet places and had some of the most fun epics of my life in sunny, warm and coastal places. "Cyril has added a large amount of joy to my life and I think most will agree they share the same feeling. Adding Kenzie to our group of friends just amplifies this joy twofold. It's a pleasure to see them together and their travels and I'm looking forward to spending time with them next summer to celebrate their special day."

Tristan and Kenzie met at Hillside Middle School and became better and better friends throughout high school and college. Tristan introduced Kenzie to Vermont, kept her sane, and made sure they always had a blast whether it was playing kickball, hanging at The Three Needs, or spending time at swimming holes. Tristan lives in Brooklyn with his girlfriend Claire.

Cyril and Kelly's friendship blossomed after spending countless hours building things to destroy your bike on and riding trails in the backwoods of Vermont and beyond. Kelly is absolutely thrilled to celebrate the union of two of the world's most incredible people, Kenzie and Cyril! Kelly is looking forward to toasting the soon-to-weds in September 2023!
