Cambrie is my little sister & is a typical 19 year old. She is in her first year of college & is also a nanny for a little boy. She loves Chick-fil-a, her Honda Civic, & her boyfriend George. She can usually be found with an army of friends drinking Dunkin' and planning for the weekend.

Lucas is my brother that I never had. He is getting ready to begin his last year of college at Western Washington University and also works at his dad's architecture firm. Lucas is also engaged and will be getting married in June to his fiance, Chloe. Lucas is one of the most genuine people to walk this earth. Lucas and I spend our time fishing together all summer long and I can't wait to move back so it can become a yearly activity.

Kylie is my older sister by 13 months. Kylie is no stranger to the wedding scene as she got married on January 5, 2019. She also is no stranger to Washington boys as her husband lives in Yakima. Kylie just finished graduate school at Washington University, where she completed her degree in Occupational Therapy. You can usually find Kylie at Orange Theory Fitness or watching true crime documentaries (a woman after my own heart).

Ty VanderYacht

Ty and I have known each other since Kindergarten and have been best friends ever since. He just completed his final year of college at Central Washington University as a business major. Ty and I enjoy sunset fishing all summer long. Ty's favorite things are hunting, driving semi-truck, and propane. #TeamFast

Stephanie and I have been friends for as long as I can remember (literally since the day we were born). I have more memories with this girl than I do with anyone else, and those memories span from camping, to Six Flags, to moped rides around Wisconsin. They say that if you have been friends for 6 years that your friendship will last a lifetime, so 23 years of friendship is definitely saying something. Steph currently lives in AZ and works as a nurse. You can usually find Steph at the nearest, cute coffee shop or hiking in the beautiful AZ scenery.

Alex VanderVelden

Alex is another guy that I have known forever and have been friends with since birth. Our parents used to split time babysitting each other's children, so we have literally known each other for our entire lives. Alex enjoys fishing and hunting, as well. He currently works with his dad building houses in Lynden. #TeamFast

Erika and I became friends at Dordt and immediately hit it off during one of their first weeks of college. Our friendship stems from our similar interests in sports, reality TV, and Wild Wing Wednesdays (if you know, you know). Erika currently lives with her husband, Marcus, in Sioux Center, IA and also works in Human Resources (just like Kenzie). You can probably find Erika either running for miles and miles or curled up on the couch watching The Bachelor.

Ike VanKempen

Ike is one of the first friends that I made at Dordt. We got to know each other through mutual friends and have struck a chord ever since. Ike was a member of the Dordt track team and he uses his extreme physical figure to throw heavy things. He loves being with his family, lifting, and eating anything that has protein. Ike is getting ready to start graduate school in the fall.

Courtney is Blake's oldest little sister. She currently lives at home and is working toward her Rad Tech degree while also working at a cute coffee joint. She can usually be found around animals (dogs, cats, goats, and everything else), hanging out with her boyfriend, or being around her friends.

Ty is one of the most genuine people in this world. He loves helping people in their time of need, which is why he became a nurse. Ty recently got married to Lyv and they are living in Sioux Center. Ty and I became friends at the end of our freshman year of college. Ty loves being with his family and in-laws when he isn't working at the hospital.

Liv is Blake's middle little sister and my future sister-in-law. She is getting ready for her senior year of high school and excels at all she does. She is known for being incredibly hard-working, whether it is sports or school. She is involved in everything and is using her high school days to its full potential. She is incredibly humble, kind, and talented. Liv can probably be found with her friends or on a volleyball or basketball court.

Jace is one of the most energetic people that I have ever met. He loves being home with his family and helping on the farm. He is also engaged and is also getting married in August. Jace and I met each other through mutual friends during our freshman year at Dordt. Jace loves hunting and fishing with his father and brother.

Mayson is Blake's youngest little sister and also my future sister-in-law. Mayson is going to be a sophomore in high school and causes everyone around her to smile. She's incredible goofy, fun, and caring. She loves playing volleyball and being with her friends. She can probably be found riding the four wheeler or sneaking Milo (the cat) into the house without her mom knowing.

Gabe is Kenzie's younger brother and the youngest in the Van Roekel clan. Gabe is reserved, mild-mannered, and loves playing fortnite with his friends. He is going to be a sophomore in high school and plays every sport imaginable. His favorite thing is when his future brother-in-law comes to visit ;)
