Our story started in the most classic, romantic place in 2019… a bar. We exchanged numbers, not thinking much of it—especially since I (Kenzie) was getting ready to move away, start my first big-girl job, and wasn’t really looking for anything serious. Alex, however, had other plans. He was persistent (some might say very persistent), and what started as a few casual dates slowly turned into something more. Even when I moved away, we made long distance work for a few months before I realized I reaaaallly liked him and decided to move back home—and move in with Alex. From there, life moved pretty quickly. We got a dog, bought a house together, and just before our two-year anniversary, welcomed our first baby, Liam. A few years later, just before our five-year anniversary, our second baby, Luka, joined the crew. We know… we did things a bit out of order. After years of building a life together full of love, chaos, and laughter, Alex finally decided he wanted to do this forever. On December 24, 2024, he asked me to marry him—and now here we are… getting ready to celebrate the start of our next chapter together. 🤍
