FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie. We’d love for our guests to dress to impress—think timeless, elegant, and celebratory. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, this is a special occasion, and we can’t wait to see everyone looking their best!

Question

What does a black-tie attire mean?

Answer

Our wedding is black-tie, and we’d love for you to dress to the nines! For men, this means a tuxedo with a black bow tie, formal shirt, and polished dress shoes. We completely understand if a classic dark suit feels more comfortable—looking sharp is what matters most. For women, a floor-length gown is most traditional, though a formal cocktail dress may also be appropriate.

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

Have you booked a hotel room block for guests?

Answer

Yes. Please check the travel tab.

Question

Is Uber/Lyft reliable for transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

You bet! If you haven't already, be sure to download the App(s) and sign up prior to the event.

Question

Will there be a Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes, we are hosting a welcome party! However, this event will be by invitation only. We’re planning a more intimate evening with our closest family and friends before the full celebration begins. If you didn’t receive an invite, please know how much we’re looking forward to celebrating with you at the wedding itself!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, and we kindly ask all guests to be seated by 4:45 PM. If you're driving in for the event, please allow extra time for parking, navigating to the event space, and settling in—Chicago traffic can be unpredictable, and we don’t want you to miss a moment!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly request children stay home unless indicated otherwise on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring any guests that are not listed on your invitation.
