FAQs

Please text Kenzi if your question is not answered here.
Question

Can I bring a plus one/my child?

Answer

Short answer: no. Long answer: we are keeping our wedding between the people we are closest with. While we are sure your plus one or child are incredible, we have already invited everyone we want at the wedding.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Everyone knows how much we both LOVE animals. However, if any pets were going to attend our wedding, it would be our cats. (Sadly, they hate car rides.)

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire in jewel tones. (Jewel tones are exactly like the name suggests. Think of emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, etc.)

Question

What is the dress code for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

Whatever you're comfortable in. (Kenzi is currently shopping for a bat onesie, so you can't get more embarrassing than that.)

Question

Will my picture be taken?

Answer

Yes. There will be some formal pictures with family after the ceremony, but we specifically hired a photographer that specializes in candid photos. If you are 1000% against being in pictures, you can respectfully tell our photographer and she will respect your wishes.

Question

Where am I sleeping?

Answer

Thankfully the Little Lazy Lodge has enough room to sleep everyone. Besides Brendan and Kenzi, everyone will be sharing a room or sleeping in a communal space (ex. the upstairs loft). All sleeping spaces are meant to have someone sleeping on them and have a mattress. The only person sleeping on a regular couch will be Kenzi during her Sleepy Girl Hours.

Question

Can I rent a hotel room nearby?

Answer

We totally understand that the sleeping arrangement isn't everyone's cup of tea. Unfortunately, there are not many hotels near the lodge. There are, however, many cabins you could rent for your stay. You would be responsible for booking and paying for any accommodations if you choose to stay somewhere else. We also ask that you have a reliable way to get to the lodge to spend time with us.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

1) Games. Video games, board games, card games, oh my! 2) Food. There is catered food for the wedding night, and family dinners on Thursday and Saturday. To allow for a more flexible weekend, we are not having set meal times. We will try to bring any snacks, food, or drinks we can think of. If there is something specific you would like, feel free to bring it. The kitchen will have plenty of space!
