We want everyone dressed their best for our special day but there is no formal dress code. The ceremony, outdoor games, and bonfire will be in the outdoors in the grass. Kentucky weather is wild, please check the forecast the morning of the wedding & dress accordingly. We will provide as many heaters as possible, along with the bonfire if the weather becomes chilly. You can wear any color you like, but we kindly request you do not wear white or any similar color.
We adore all of your children, but we want you to enjoy our day as much as we will! We respectfully request no children under 15 attend.
If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you rsvp. Please ensure you are rsvping for you & your guest. Due to limited space we can only accommodate those guests formally invited.
We are having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that all devices be put away & on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture one of the most important moments in our lives. We'd hate to have a well intentioned persons device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony feel free to take all the pics you want! After the bride has walked up the aisle we will be giving our guests a social media minute to take pictures, our officiant will explain during the ceremony.
There is ample free parking at the venue. Unfortunately, all vehicles must be off the property by 11pm (an hour after reception ends). If you plan on drinking carpooling with a DD or utilizing Uber is highly recommended.
This isn't a question - NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND is permitted at our venue per our contract. Please respect this or you WILL be asked to leave.
Masks or Vaccinations are not required. We are keeping this relatively small, around 100 guests. The ceremony will be outdoors [The rain plan will be inside the barn]. The Reception will be in the barn. The barn has multiple doors for air flow. There is a covered outdoor deck & outdoor bonfire area if anyone wants to be away from the crowd.
