We’re gettin hitched!

Who knew one simple question and answer could send a ripple effect on the rest of your life to come? The story all began when a coworker of Kenzee's asked her one simple question during lunch, "You lookin' for a Boo?!?!" To which Kenzee replied, "I am not, not looking for a Boo..." Just after this Chad had reached out to Kenzee. It only took them 24 hours of texting before deciding to go on their first date. They met at a midway point for them which was Wild Eagle Saloon in Streetsboro OH, as at the time Kenzee was living in Ravenna and Chad in Macedonia. When the time came for the first date they met at the restaurant and walked in together. Both full of nerves and a lot of smiles. After being booted from their original table, due to the live band, Chad and Kenzee finished out their 6+ hour first date on the patio with a lot of laughs, no dinner, many trips to the beer wall and plans to see each other the following week for a hike. They soon after meshed their homes and pups giving them a total of four furry friends. From oldest to youngest they now share Boone, Tank, Dolly and Cash. At times they can be a lot but they truly make their house a home and keep them very entertained. Fast forward to Chad's 31st birthday dinner February 20th, 2023. Chad requested to go back to where it all began for them, Wild Eagle Saloon. This was the first time they had been back alone since that first date June 19th, 2021. After Chad's birthday dinner when leaving the restaurant they went to explore the empty patio. Chad started to play their song and asked Kenzee to dance with him on the patio under the string lights. This is something they tend to do often at home in the living room, in their kitchen and even on their own patio under their string lights they hung together. After a minute or so of dancing Kenzee couldn't resist the urge to snap a quick video, unbeknownst to her the events to soon follow. Kenzee never wants to forget any special small moments with the love of her life. She propped her phone up and began to record them dancing. She made sure to tell Chad, "I'll only record for a few seconds, then I'll stop...promise!". Kenzee is the picture queen, never wanting to forget a single moment. Chad is a live in the moment, put your phone down type of guy. As the video starts rolling they continue to dance, laugh, joke, kiss and then the time came. Chad got serious and began to ask Kenzee some questions she did not see coming for that night. Chad then asked Kenzee, "What are you doing for the rest of my life?". She quickly replied with a, "ME?!...Hopefully spending it with you!". As reality began to hit Kenzee was flooded with feelings of shock, joy and an abundance of love. Chad then asked her to give him one more birthday gift by saying YES as he got down on one knee. Since you’re reading this love story the obvious answer was…YESSS!!! One small world moment as well is that Kenzee's mother had Chad for elementary school art. Their paths may have crossed before as Kenzee frequently went to school with her mom. TIMING IS EVERYTHING! <3
