One of our favorite dinner spots in Boise! Hunter is a bit more adventurous with the menu, but Kristina comes here for one thing and one thing only....the chicken pad thai. It’s that good!
This place has two locations. One in Meridian off Eagle Road and the other in Downtown Boise. The food is always amazing, and they’ve got a fantastic happy hour for drinks and appetizers. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious bites! The Meridian location is inside of the Meridian Village, which has some great shopping, and is always fun to explore.
Perfect for breakfast or brunch, this is one of Kristina’s favorite spots! There’s usually a line out the door, but it’s worth the wait. Plus, you can check out the comic book store/coffee shop next door while you wait! We highly recommend the hash bowls!
This spot isn’t far from the Boise Train Depot and has something for everyone as it has both great BBQ and solid vegan options! Our go-to order is The Bigfoot Roll.
When we’re craving sushi and want a quick bite, this is favorite of Kristina's. Located in Downtown Boise, it has lots of fun sushi roll options to choose from!
With two locations, one in Meridian and another near Boise State's campus, Big Jud's is the go-to local spot if you are craving a burger.
If you're up for a hike, Table Rock is a must! The trail starts at the Old Idaho Penitentiary and offers panoramic views of Boise.
Camel's Back Park has the iconic Camel's Back Hill. The park also has a playground and lots of open space if you want to relax. Right behind the park is Hulls Gulch Reserve, with plenty of awesome hiking trails to explore. Not too far away, you’ll find the Hyde Park area, full of great spots for food, drinks, and even some shopping.
If you're up for a Saturday morning stroll, the Capital City Farmers Market is a must-visit! Located in Downtown Boise, this vibrant market offers fresh local produce, handmade goods, and delicious food from local vendors. It’s a great place to stroll, grab a bite, and support Boise’s community.
