Kenyan and Kimberly Barfield’s love story began with a few simple online exchanges and direct messages. They bonded over a shared passion for international travel and exploration. Their connection was instant—two kindred spirits who knew they were meant to journey through the rest of life together. The couple were engaged on March 1, 2020, then officially married during a courthouse ceremony just a few months later on July 2, 2020. Since this was at the start of the pandemic, they were not allowed to celebrate with family and friends. Shortly after exchanging rings, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Nairobi into the world. A year later, the couple flew to St. Lucia and exchanged vowels in front of their children. Already a solid team of five (Kenyan, Kimberly, Kenyan J, Aniyah, and Nairobi) they now welcome a sixth member (Egypt), during their fifth year Wedding Anniversary. The Barfield's are thrilled and ecstatic to finally share this special occasion—with you, their family and friends.
