It all started in the summer of 2017, Kenya was looking for a part-time job, and Melvin was… well, just standing there with the biggest smile at Wendy’s saying, “How can I help you?” Little did we know, that “hello” would change everything. That summer was full of laughter, secrets, and sneaky kisses behind the barbecue sauce. It was fun, light, and completely effortless; exactly how love should feel. When the summer ended, so did our time in the same city. Life moved us apart, but our hearts never did. There was always something unfinished. Fast forward to June 2022, fate gave us another chance. Life had changed, we had grown, but our connection hadn’t skipped a beat. We picked up right where we left off, this time with more love, more laughter, and a shared vision for the future. Since then, our love has only grown; fueled by friendship, patience, and faith, with Christ at the center of it all. Along the way, our family grew, our hearts expanded, and we realized that God really does have a perfect plan. Now, here we are, ready to say “I do” and start the next chapter as best friends, soulmates, and lifelong partners-in-crime. Full of love, full of faith, and definitely full of laughter.
