Ken & Laura

September 2006: Ken and Laura met on the school bus and quickly became friends. Ken played music for Laura on his CD player, and she knew then that he was different from the other second grade boys. 

2006-2010: Ken and Laura became close elementary school friends, often riding the bus together and ending up in the same classes.

October 2010: Ken and his family moved to Germany for his dad's service in the US Army. Ken and Laura remained in touch through social media.

September 2016: Ken and his family moved back to Holden, and Laura and Ken instantly recognized each other in band class.

June 3, 2017: Ken and Laura had their first official date, Senior Prom.

July 2017: Ken officially asked Laura to be his girlfriend, and Ken joined the US Air Force and moved to Texas for Basic Training the following day.

October 2, 2021: After four years of dating long-distance, Ken got down on one knee and asked Laura to marry him (and she said yes!)

August 21, 2022: Ken and Laura say I Do!
