Travel

This year, parents/homecoming weekend at Colorado State University overlaps with our wedding (rude of them). By some miracle we found a hotel that provided us a group rate. It is close to the wedding venue but not in the most exciting location. If you are planning to make a trip out if it, we recommend booking your stay in Fort Collins (FC) or Loveland. We recommend booking travel ASAP! Book flights, hotels, activities, and restaurant reservations well in advance and thank us later :) FC is a college town with lots to do! It will be busier than usual due to parents weekend but it's worth a visit and there will be lots going on! There are also plenty of hiking trails at Lorie State Park, Horsetooth open space/reservoir, and up the Poudre Canyon. Loveland will likely be less busy than FC and it is closer to the wedding venue in Windsor. Estes Park is about a 45 minute drive up the Big Thompson Canyon and there are tons of beautiful hiking trails along the way.
