Question

DID THE SCHEDULE CHANGE?

Answer

You may have noticed, the time and location of the ceremony and reception did change. Due to Covid related issues we switched our reception to a location that had enough outdoor space to accommodate our guest count and meet the necessary requirements for Covid restrictions. The new location is within half a mile of the previous location and does not impact hotel reservations.

Question

WHAT IS TURTLE SEASON?

Answer

Turtle nesting season for Fort Myers Beach is May 1st through October 31st. During this time no lights or music is prohibited on the beach after sunset. On October 17th the sunset will be approximately 7pm; at that time our reception will move from the beach location to an indoor private event space.

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you are able to work out childcare accommodations during the wedding events then bring them along on the vaca! *Exception: if you are breastfeeding, your baby is welcome to join the celebrations!

Question

HOW DO YOU GET TO THE CEREMONY & RECEPTON?

Answer

A shuttle service will be provided from specific the Lighthouse Resort. The shuttle service will begin taking guests to the ceremony site at 1:30pm. The reception is at the same location as the ceremony. Since guests will all be leaving at different times throughout the evening no shuttle service will be provided.

Question

HOW DO I GET BACK TO MY HOTEL/AIRBNB AFTER THE RECEPTION?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle service taking guests home after the reception. If you are staying at Lighthouse Resort you are .2 miles walking distance from the reception location. Local Taxi Services Available: +Coconut Cab 239-765-6666

Question

CEREMONY PARKING

Answer

Parking at Shucker's at the Gulfshore is somewhat limited. If parking is not available at the restaurant by the time you arrive, nearby street metered parking may be an option. To avoid parking issues, guests are welcome to Uber, walk or drive to one of the two locations that are shuttling guests directly to the ceremony site. The locations for the shuttle pick-up are: Lighthouse Resort Inn and Nervous Nellies.

Question

REHEARSAL DINNER QUESTIONS

Answer

Parking: Limited parking at the restaurant so please carpool or walk if possible. If parking lot is full, there is metered parking on the street near by. Mantanzas on the Bay is walking distance from Lighthouse Resort Inn. Kids: There is a capacity limit at this venue. So due to the size of the wedding party itself, unfortunately kids will not be able to attend this event.
