Kent and Marie both started their new jobs and careers in public education the same year, and in the same school. As time went by, Kent noticed that Marie would say 'good morning' to him each and every day. Being the social butterfly of his new work environment, Kent often organized outings such as happy hours for his colleagues. Leading to such an outing, Kent decided to personally invite Marie to come out for a drink, in which, she said yes! She sat right next to him during the happy hour and even left as he did. In classic Kent fashion though, he dropped the ball and failed to ask for her number. Luckily, Marie took the initiative and sought out his number through a work email and initiating the first text. From there, their relationship blossomed into the beautiful couple you see today.
