How do I get to the venue?

Answer

● Please look for the entrance sign marked “Lauxmont Gardens” (NOT “Lauxmont Farms”). Proceed past the white barn and up the paved road. ● Approximately halfway up the hill, you make the first left as indicated, directing you towards the parking area for both the Japanese Garden and the Sunken Garden. Then, you will make the first right available and park in the designated area. ○ Please keep in mind that the mansion is private property. No parking or entrance is allowed on the mansion’s grounds. ● The Japanese Garden is located down a lit, mulch path that guides you into the venue space

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire, please no jeans. Florals and pastels are encouraged for a nice garden party vibe. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass so wear appropriate shoes.

Are children allowed?

Answer

To allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and celebration, we respectfully request no children at the ceremony or reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they will be named. Thank you for understanding!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding, will take full advantage of the beautiful late-summer weather! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, so we recommend dressing comfortably for the season. The reception will be under a tent, offering shade and some protection while still enjoying the fresh air. A light layer might be a good idea for later in the evening.

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in.
