What do I wear?
Answer
We kindly request that guests dress in semiformal or cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing jeans or white. For gentlemen, we recommend a suit or slacks paired with a button-up shirt. Ladies are encouraged to wear a knee-length or longer dress, or an elegant jumpsuit. We invite our guests to consider wearing shades of green, brown, gold, or black to create a cohesive look, though any variation of these colors is welcome. While not required, if you would like additional inspiration, please refer to your invitation or our wedding website's attire page.

Yes! Your invitation should have the details on who is welcome, including children.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes, parking is conveniently available on-site for all our guests. Feel free to leave your vehicle overnight, and we encourage everyone to prioritize safe transportation after the celebration.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please reach out as soon as possible with any allergies or dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate and communicate your options!

Will the bride be changing her name?
Answer
The bride has no plans to change her name legally. However, personalized gifts referencing the Hugheses are still welcome!

Check out our travel page for more information! We do have a hotel block at The Manchester Hotel, but for a more budget friendly option, you are welcome to check out any other hotels or rentals in the Lexington area!

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, we'll be offering an open bar during our wedding reception, with complimentary drinks for all our guests to enjoy. Please note that the after-party will be a separate event where guests will be responsible for their own beverages.

Our ceremony will move indoors at the same location.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! During the reception, please feel free to take as many photos as you’d like and share!
