Oliver was originally a southern boy, but adopted in brooklyn just in time for a cross country road trip to denver with his new dog dad. He adjusted well to the mountain life, including hikes, camping and wildflowers, but never outgrew his fear of the dark. At great sand dunes national park, we spent the day hiking up and boarding down the pristine sand. Later at camp, we grilled ribeye over the fire and watched as the sun set over the San Juan mountains to the west beyond the plains. Amongst the fading rays, the diamond glinted brilliantly.
