In October of 2016 Kent and Taylor met at the gym. Kent was very interested in Taylor and would always go out of his way to say hi or try to catch her eye. After he mustered up enough courage he finally asked her on a date. Their first date was to chipotle and a hike at the gorge, Taylor swore she knew the way to the water falls. However, they never made it to the falls and ended up just enjoying their hike and getting to know each other. That afternoon Kent dropped Taylor off at home and got to meet her family. Taylor swore he would never reach out again because her mother, sister, and papa embarrassed her so badly. Thankfully, Kent continued to take Taylor on more dates and they both fell madly in love with each other.

Kent Proposed to Taylor at one of their favorite vacation spots, Gatlinburg Tennessee. It happened on their first hike under a beautiful waterfall. Kent told Taylor that it was fitting since they never made it to the waterfall on their first date.
