_____________________________________________________________________________ Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Ours began with perfect timing. Kensington and Cole were introduced by a mutual friend who, in hindsight, seemed to know exactly what she was doing. She waited for just the right moment to connect them. And as it turns out, that timing couldn’t have been more meaningful. From the very beginning, it felt like there was something familiar about each other. The more they talked, the more they realized just how much they had in common. Both were born in August of the same year, both grew up in Canton, attended neighboring high schools, and graduated in 2017. They shared a love for sports, a heart for kids, a deep faith in Jesus, and yes, a mutual appreciation for cheering on the Buckeyes. What started as one introduction quickly turned into something neither of them expected. After meeting, they spent five days in a row together, and somewhere in the middle of all of that time, laughter, and conversation…everything just clicked. Cole quickly became known to Kensington as kind-hearted, hilarious, and effortlessly thoughtful: the kind of man who opens doors, makes people laugh, and somehow always knows the right thing to say. Kensington became someone Cole admired for her authenticity, her loving heart, and the kind of smile that lights up an entire room. What made their story so special wasn’t just how naturally they connected, it was how clearly it felt that their lives had been brought together at exactly the right time. Their paths had been running parallel for years, and yet God, in His perfect wisdom, chose the moment when both of their stories were ready to intertwine. Very early on, they both had the same quiet thought: “when you know, you know.” What began as a connection became a friendship almost overnight, and that friendship quickly grew into a love built on joy, faith, trust, and genuine companionship.
