We met in 2019 at Taco Bell—young, shy, and not knowing how much our lives would change. I was the new girl, and Justin gave me the most awkward, nerdy wave. I just looked at him and waved back, not thinking much of it at the time. Over the years, what started as coworkers turned into a friendship. That friendship grew into a deep bond—we became best friends before anything else. It took about five years before our story shifted into something more. Somewhere along the way, without even realizing it, we became a constant in each other’s lives. But what truly showed us who we were to each other was when we made one of the hardest decisions—we chose to step away and walk with God individually. We wanted to grow, heal, and rebuild our relationship with Christ on our own, trusting that if it was meant to be, God would bring us back together. And He did. Through time, growth, and faith, we found our way back—not just as friends, but as something deeper, stronger, and more intentional. Looking back, I’ve always felt like Justin was my person… even before we had the words for it. From coworkers, to best friends, to forever—this is only the beginning of our story 🤍
