We officially met in high school when I was his A+ tutor in Earth Science. We reunited when our two dear friends decided to get married and we were in their wedding party. I was asked who I’d like to walk down the aisle with, I picked Kenny. The first time we saw each other after two years was at the rehearsal, June 6. After a couple words were exchanged and a humidifier was mistaken for an air conditioner. We would later find out that’s when the sparks started for both of us. The wedding had come and gone and I knew that I had to see Kenny again. Kenny knew too. I made a plan after the wedding for the wedding party to meet up again since we had all been friends in high school I thought it was a good excuse. A couple days after the wedding Kenny messaged me to ask when bowling was.(he knew) A simple question snowballed into us talking everyday. We soon started to hang out as friends, we hung out often, and soon that turned to everyday. We started a summer bucket list. We did a bunch of silly activities and went to fun places. Because we were with each other it was the most fun we ever had. July 5th he asked me to be his girlfriend. I happily said yes. August 5th came and it was a very sad day for both of us. It was time for Kenny to go to boot camp. I wrote him every single day. 2 long months later we were reunited at his graduation. We said goodbye again. Two more long months and he came home. The day after Kenny and I wanted to surprise our dear friends with his homecoming. My friend and I headed to Ritter Springs Park to meet her husband and Kenny was supposed to be waiting. We couldn’t find him at first and I started to get frustrated. After about 20 minutes of walking we found Kenny and her husband too. After realizing what was happening I walked over to the man of my dreams and he proposed. We are so ecstatic to be planning our wedding and to start this new adventure.
