Forever friends since way back when in high school. Social media kept us somewhat in touch as we grew older states away from one another. In 2017 I visited Maryland from South Carolina. Kenny was a complete gentleman. We drove around town together, I felt like I was 16 again. We talked and for five days we were able to be completely honest with who we were at that point in our lives, and it was as if we never missed a beat. He was still my friend from way back when. When I returned to Myrtle Beach we began texting more and more. Kenny asked to come visit me, that's the truth even though he remembers it differently. Still my friend from way back when in Myrtle Beach he showed up to my work carrying the most beautiful pink roses. That picture of him walking in will never fade. On August 31, 2017 I wanted to introduce him to friends and as we waited we asked a lady to take our picture. With her drunken encouragement we had our first kiss (except there may have been some way back when but that's still debatable). From that point forward my life long friend became my very best friend. We committed to a long distance relationship. Kenny did most of the traveling. Sometimes even driving for more hours than he could visit. We built a beautiful connection while working through the struggles of missing one another. It was the bond of a friendship that kept us going, he is more than a lover he is my best friend. On August 31, 2018 my forever friend, now best friend took a knee in front of the castle at Disney World and became my prince charming, my future husband. I said yes. I said yes to spending my life with the man who I have always loved in one way or another. In June 2019 I moved to be with my prince charming back where it all began. Today we are planning our fairy tale wedding. And you are all part of this beautiful love story.
