Kenny and Leah met in 2013 when they both transferred from community college to Shippensburg University. At first they were just friends, for 3 years, or as Kenny says, he was "friend-zoned" for 3 years. Thanks to social media, Kenny and Leah went on their first date in 2016, and Kenny asked if Leah would be his girlfriend on October 27, 2016 at Creek's Edge Winery. On November 11, 2017, in the same spot he asked her to be his girlfriend and surrounded by friends and family, Kenny asked Leah to be his wife.
