Our wedding ceremony and reception will be Friday, 12/3/2021.

Why is the wedding on a Friday?

Answer

Since the wedding is a destination for all the wedding party and guests, we decided that a Friday ceremony and reception will give everyone time to recover on Saturday (if they had "too much fun" at the reception,) visit with friends and family, and explore the cool city of St. Augustine for the rest of the weekend. We hope that people can take this opportunity to have a little vacation while celebrating our marriage. Also 12-3-21 is a pretty cool date!!

Where is the venue for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location, The Treasury on the Plaza. This location is in downtown historic St. Augustine.

Where should I stay?

Answer

On the Travel page of our website, there are a few listed hotels that are within 0.2 miles of the venue. There are also multiple AirBnB, VRBO, and local bed and breakfast locations in the area. People can also stay on Anastasia Island as an option.

Well what about driving and parking?

Answer

So parking in historic St. Augustine is pretty slim so we suggest to stay close to the venue or in the historic area. Most everything is within walking distances for those who can walk. We suggest to use ride-share like Uber or Lyft, trolley cars (that has to be pre-scheduled), or walk. We will have a few parking spaces for select friends and family that can't walk far and will need to drive to the ceremony and reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony is going to start at ..... Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the beginning.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress formal to our wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are definitely welcome but due to this venue being a historic building, please keep an eye on your children. Also please let us know in your RSVP about the number of kids so we can supply foods for the kiddos.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The holiday time in St. Augustine can be busy so please plan ahead to get decreased pricing on things including hotels, flights, car.. etc. Nights of Lights is a big event that brings in many visitors to the city.
