In December 2022, Georgia was looking for a roommate and had two weeks to fill the room. She got an email from her Craigslist post, and a few days later Kenny was at the house with his dog Hunter by his side. The meeting was quick, but he seemed normal enough and got the room. Within two weeks of moving in, Georgia knew Kenny was one of a kind. She was quickly telling friends and family, "I hope to know him forever." All along he was reminding himself of the one rule of living with strangers, "Don't date the roommate". As the months flew by, there was banter and happiness. They would joke over the dating-app dates they went on, or the lack thereof, and stay up talking for hours. The house was becoming a home as the garden grew, the furniture found its place, and spring brought forth new opportunities. General texting became subtle flirting and the rules began to crumble before their eyes. When Georgia went to Germany for work, she happily received a text saying, "When you get home, I want to take you out on a date." Now here they are eagerly awaiting their wedding day, astonished that it took Craigslist to create this amazing bond.
