The Proposal
Were we meant to meet? Were the turns and events our lives took meant to take us this way? Life is interesting like that; we cannot deny it, the chemistry, the energy, and that unexplainable gravitational pull it gives to make you be with the one you are meant to be with. And so, it began for us. As we went through life, walking the path we thought we were meant to walk on, unbeknownst to each other, what destiny had in store for us. Life took us to find ourselves working in the same company as coworkers. We naturally gravitated towards each other, as if we had known each other our entire lives. From the beginning, we just clicked. Our friendship grew effortlessly and naturally, built on shared laughs during coffee breaks and mutual support through the daily grind. We shared common interests in morals, goals, and most of all, mutual respect and support for each other. We shared a beautiful friendship. And for a while, that’s all it was, two friends working side by side. As our friendship grew, we each pursued our own goals, and over time, our careers led us down different paths. But instead of growing apart, we found ourselves growing closer, and our connection deepened. We started spending more time together, enjoying dinners, long talks, and spontaneous adventures. And may I say, we started missing one another, wishing to be with each other more and more every passing day. We could not deny it anymore, we could not go against what destiny had so devotedly prepared for us, and finally saw this invisible path, the path of Our Love, and we took the leap of faith. Our friendship blossomed into the most genuine, transcendent, and immaculate love. It took our entire lives to find each other, and our only regret is that we didn’t meet sooner. The love we feel for each other is more than words can describe. It’s the gravitational pull you can’t explain, it’s seeing something that cannot be seen, it's knowing "destiny" was there all along. And now that we have found each other, we know it exists... Our Love Story
