‘An American in Paris’ in China! Yup, you heard it right. We both booked the International tour of the Tony award winning musical ‘An American in Paris’. As soon as we bonded over our love for coffee we decided to go in on a french press together and agreed we’d take turns traveling it from city to city. Every morning whoever had the French press texted the other to say “It’s ready” (or something way more cute and clever honestly). We would bring a mug over and say good morning before starting our days. It quickly became our favorite time of day. In between touring China and Taiwan, we decided to take a trip to Cape Cod (one of Kenny’s favorite places). If things weren’t solidified before, this trip definitely heightened our connection.  After Taiwan there were a couple months of time off, and the tour was scheduled to go back out on the road- this time to Paris! Alexa however, was gearing up to make her Broadway debut in a West Side Story revival. Kenny decided that he would much rather be there for her Broadway opening performance than go back out on the road to Paris, so he stayed in NYC with her. Fast forward to 2020 and well, we all know what happened then. We grew as a couple so much during this wildly hard time. When the time was right and things were returning to a bit of normalcy, we decided to sign a lease on our first apartment together, foster fail/adopt a sweet pup who we named Becs (after our favorite bacon, egg and cheese sandwich) and the rest is history!  After 5 years of being each other’s rock, Kenny decided to create the most beautiful rock for Alexa’s finger. Centering the most perfect heirloom marquee stone from his grandmothers ring. Alexa never knew what she wanted, but the second she saw the ring it took her breath away. We are over the moon to get married and cannot wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people who have supported our love over the years!
