Maid of Honor
Chloe and Kayla met in 2008 at Maranatha Christian Academy and grew their friendship year after year. After 18 years of friendship, Chloe's favorite memory of time spent with Kayla is playing elementary school games on the playground, like Hide-and-Seek, Fairies, or Mermaids. Kayla's favorite memory of time spent with Chloe is their trip to San Diego, California in 2023, specifically their Whale Watching Boat Tour where they saw a mom and baby humpback whale pair.
Best Man
Ian and Ethan met in 2014 at Discovery Middle School when they both joined Choir. They became friends and continued to build that relationship through Middle School and High School. In High School, they both joined Debate, which gave them plenty of opportunities to build upon their friendship. Ethan's favorite memories of time spent with Ian is at Debate tournaments or going bowling with their friends in High School.
Bridesmaid
Being the groom's sister, Emma and Kayla met around the same time that Kayla and Ethan began dating in 2024. Although they have never lived in the same state at the same time, Emma and Kayla have been able to get close with one another. Emma's favorite memory is said to be spending the whole day with her taking her all over the city in an attempt to convince her she wasn’t actually being taken to her proposal. Emma says Kayla may have started to be suspicious by the end of the day, but being apart of the surprise was a memory she'll never forget! Coincidentally, Kayla's favorite memory of time spent with Emma is also the day Emma took Kayla out for brunch and shopping, which actually turned out to be Kayla's surprise proposal. However, she also recalls the more mundane days of just getting Swig with her and Ethan to be fun times together as well.
Groomsman
Jacob is Ethan's Brother-in-law, and they have gotten to spend a lot of time together over the last 9 years. Ethan's favorite memory with Jacob is going to California and getting to spend time with him and Ethan's sister Emma. Ethan specifically enjoyed the Japanese tea garden in San Francisco and playing cornhole at the Hops farm.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Kayla met when they were assigned each other as random roommates at Ouachita Baptist University in 2022. They lived together for two years. Rebecca's favorite memory together is when they found a "Grandma's Kitchen" sign for their dorm room at the thrift store, when she swore they would never be able to find one. Kayla's favorite memory is getting snowed in at Rebecca's house for five days with nothing to do but drink hot chocolate, watch Sue Thomas: FBI, and complete a puzzle.
Groomsman
Peter is one of Ethan's many cousins, so they have known each other since Peter was born in 2003. As they continue to grow up, their relationship and brotherhood continues to grow stronger. They have spent countless hours together, with some of Ethan's favorite memories being trying to steal Peter's stroller at Silver Dollar City or playing glow in the dark hide and seek at Bennet Springs.
Bridesmaid
Being Kayla's elementary school best friend, Kayla and Faith met at Maranatha Christian Academy in 2008. They have been close ever since, being with each other through every season of life. One of Faith's favorite memories is when we used to do our Black Friday sleepovers! The pair would wake up super early in the morning, grab Starbucks, and hit the mall! it was full of so many laughs and so much fun! Kayla recalls taking a trip to Des Moines, Iowa, with Faith, Faith's mom, and Beki as one of her favorite memories.
Groomsman
Ethan and Daniel, cousins, have been in each other's lives since Daniel was born in 2005. They have remained close with one another as the years go on. Ethan's favorite memories with Daniel are playing Catan (and winning) and competing in Ultimate Chicken Horse.
Bridesmaid
Beki and Kayla met at Maranatha Christian Academy and began to get close in 2016 after the Select Choir trip to Colorado Springs. As they walk through similar parts of life together, Beki and Kayla remain close with one another. Beki’s favorite memory with Kayla in over a decade of friendship is their janitor days at signco. They would clean the building monthly, but really it was an excuse to hang out! Kayla's favorite memory with Beki has to be going out and getting breakfast with her and Lucy during their online physics class (sorry mom!).
Groomsman
As one of Ethan's cousins, Ethan and Aidan have known each other since 2003. They have continued to see each other and have shared many fun memories together, appreciating the time spent with family. Ethan remembers and cherishes playing behind the George's family home when they were growing up and fishing at Bennet Springs.
Bridesmaid
Meeting at Maranatha Christian Academy, Lucy and Kayla really got to know one another in 2016 once Junior High began. They are still just as close as they were back in school, making time to still see each other and hang out at Lucy's house. Kayla's favorite memory with Lucy is spending time at Lucy's grandma's beach house with her, Faith, Beki, and Chloe and the countless memories they have had there over the years.
Groomsman
Ethan and Micah are cousins, leading to them spending countless of hours together. Ethan's favorite memories are playing Stalker (if you know, you know), a game of pool, or any other fun games that they can come up with. Ethan also enjoyed recounting old memories they had with their grandmother, Grams.
Bridesmaid
Addison and Kayla met at Ouachita Baptist University in 2022 and truly grew their friendship when they joined the same social club, Tri Chi. They have traveled back and forth to see each other, still remaining their close friendship. Addison's favorite memory with Kayla is the week they both decided to join Tri Chi. They debriefed about Rush Week every night over Sonic and shared many laughs together. After much recollection, Kayla decided her favorite memory with Addison is spending time at her house for the Fourth of July with her, Ethan, their friend Colbie, and Addison's family.
Bridesmaid
As if their names weren't confusing enough, Mikayla and Kayla became close and decided to live together as suitemates at Ouachita Baptist University in 2023. Although Kayla left Ouachita in 2024, they still make time to talk and see each other. Mikayla says picking one specific memory is difficult. She remembers really good memories of them going on drives together and laughing together in their dorm. She also recalls some of those times that weren’t particularly joyous but where the two were there for each other. She appreciated those moments. Kayla recalls spending time at Mikayla's house over Easter Break as her favorite memory, especially shopping for a wedding dress for her sister.
