Kammi and I met for the first time on Easter morning, 2002. We were four years old, and her mom had just been called to serve as the worship leader at the church my dad pastors. Kam doesn’t believe me, but one of my earliest memories is seeing her family stand on the stage and be welcomed into our church, with Kam shyly tucked behind her mama. Throughout the years, our friendship grew at Garden Lakes Elementary and Westview High. We *officially* began dating July 6, 2013. Then, after graduation, God called us to two different schools: Kammi to study nursing at Abilene Christian and myself to study theology at Grand Canyon. Now, as Kammilyn Marie just graduated, we are thrilled to be planning our forever together. • Ken
I had a friend from college who had her own photography business and dreamed about having her photograph my future wedding. When I was getting close to graduating, I had the opportunity for her to do my graduation picures and was beyond excited! Little did I know there was a bigger plan in the mix... During our photo shoot she told me to turn around and there Kenny was walking towards me in Abilene, Texas when I definitely thought he was in Arizona at work. I was shocked but so happy and blessed it was all caught on camera. Afterwards we got back to my house and Kenny planned a party with my closest friends. IT WAS A DREAM! • Kam
