FAQs

We understand that you may have a lot of questions, so here are a few pointers to get you started.
Question

How Are We Ensuring This Is a Covid Safe Event?

Answer

We are following every guidance as mandated by elected officials of Baltimore City and the state of Maryland. Still unsure? That is completely fine and we truly understand. To ensure our family and friends are comfortable, healthy and safe, we have provided an option for attendants to view the wedding ceremony virtually.

Question

Is There Valet or Plenty of Parking at the Venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, the restaurant does not provide valet and there is only a small parking lot. There is usually plenty of free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood available but we do recommend you car pool or Uber/Lyft if possible.

Question

What if I Change My Mind at the Last Minute and I No Longer Want to Physically Attend Your Wedding?

Answer

While we will miss you, we totally understand. If you RSVP'ed but you change your mind and you no longer want to attend the physical ceremony and reception, email Gretchen at gretchen.g.design@gmail.com as soon as possible. We'll make sure you get the info for our virtual ceremony.

Question

What’s the Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail, please! For women, a cocktail dress that is shorter than floor-length, a pantsuit, or dressy separates is appropriate. For men to wear a sports jacket, suit jacket or even a smart blazer and chinos with a tie. YOU as our guest, are an important part of our refined and elevated wedding day. With that in mind, the following items are not permitted: No Jeans, No Sneakers, No T-Shirts, No Flip Flops or Slides, No Backwards Caps/ Skull Caps/ or Beanies, No Athletic wear- Sweatpants/ Joggers/ or Workout apparel

Question

When Is the Latest I Can RSVP?

Answer

The favor of a reply will be appreciated by March 22th, 2022.

Question

Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #thewallerwedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

Question

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Question

Will the Ceremony and Reception Be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors! Sometimes restaurants can be a little chilly so we recommend a shawl or cardigan for ladies who may get a bit chilly.
