Laguardia Airport, Newark Airport, John F Kennedy Airport

NYC has a ton of airports. Laguardia is the easiest to get here if you are not renting a car. Fly into Laguardia, take the bus to Harlem train station, and take the Hudson line to Peekskill or Garrison station. A taxi can get you to your final destination. Newark Airport is the easiest way to rent a car. JFK is the most challenging but doable (Kenneth and I have rented a car and drove up to West Point). Just be prepared to drive through NYC traffic.

There is a room block here under Cline-Shields wedding! The ceremony and reception will be here! The Zulu lounge and in-house restaurants are places to get an easy meal. Let us know if we need to add more rooms to the room block!

IHG Army Hotels Five Star Inn

Walkable to the Thayer Hotel! The 5 Star offers large hotel rooms with fully functional kitchens. They are ideal for multiple guests or families. The Hotel is not located on post. You do not need a military ID to access the hotel, and it is available for non military individuals. There is a guard post located at the entry point to the hotel, but they just require a "REAL" ID or Enhanced DL to access. If you do not have a "REAL" ID, a Passport will be required.

You would need a ride (rental car or taxi) but within a few miles!
