How We Met Ashalá and Kenneth met online in 2019, modern love at its finest. The Proposal Fast forward to June 2023 on vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. During an excursion, they found themselves at a beautiful waterfall. While Ashalá was sitting and enjoying the moment, Kenneth came and sat beside her. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something unforgettable. Before Ashalá even realized what was happening, Kenneth was down on one knee asking her to be his forever plus one. Completely shocked (and very teary), Ashalá said yes!
