We're getting married!

Alice and Kenny met the way all great love stories begin, on the basketball court. They ran into each other at the gym during a pickup game, and it didn’t take long for Alice to give Kenny a run for his money. Mid-game, Kenny actually stopped to change into better shoes because Alice shot a cross-over three pointer in his face… and MADE IT! Kenny usually kept quiet when it came to girls, but that day he went home and told his mom, “I met someone today.” Four years later, that someone is about to become his forever teammate. May 23, 2026, they’re tying the knot.

Our engagement was full of laughs, surprises, and a little bit of Easter magic. We were playing an "act it out" game with our families, and everyone was in on the big secret, except Alice, of course. When it was Kenny’s turn to act and Alice’s turn to guess, the clues were pretty tricky. They acted out “Wheel you Mary me?” — with “wheel” like a car wheel, and a hint about “Who’s Jesus’ mom” for “Mary.” Just as Alice was trying to figure it out, I blurted out, “Will you marry me?” And in that moment, surrounded by family and smiles, everything felt absolutely perfect. It was the sweetest surprise, and the start of forever.
