Cameron assumed Hannah's dad's position as Command Chief Exec for the Wing. They were cut from the same cloth and their co-workers thought Hannah and Cameron would be a great match but the timing was never right. They first saw each other at Hannah's dad's Air Force retirement ceremony where Cameron sang the National Anthem. If you ask Cameron, Hannah was focused on him throughout the ceremony. Truth is, every time she glanced his way, he was already looking at her (and if you know Hannah you know her eyes don't miss much). The reception was chaotic, so they didn't get a chance to talk in person, but he wasted no time in contacting her on social media. They casually talked for a few months until a night of darts at her parent's house, where things fell into place and they've been inseparable ever since!

Cameron is a romantic at heart and had grand plans for the proposal. After his squadron's Christmas party, we were celebrating with friends and got lost in the moment... tossing those plans out the window. In front of some of our closest friends, he got down on one knee and proposed. Hannah had already changed out of her cocktail dress, into an oversized t-shirt and shorts and threw her hair into a bun (so you know he meant it). It was perfectly Hannah and Cameron and they wouldn't change a moment of it.
