Question

What should I wear? 💃🕺

Answer

Dress code: Semi-Formal ( Think Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, slacks, suits, ties) October in Michigan can be crisp and unpredictable, so we recommend bringing an extra layer for the outdoor ceremony. We want you to feel dressed up but still comfortable enough to dance, play, laugh, and enjoy the evening with us!

Question

I want to bring a gift — what should I do?🎁🎁🎁

Answer

We’re so grateful you want to celebrate with us and your presence truly means the world! If you’d like to give a gift, we kindly ask that you consider contributing to our honeymoon or newlywed fund to help us build our life together. If you prefer giving a physical gift, we’ve also included a few items we’d love or need. You can find all the details on our registry: https://www.zola.com/registry/kennedymark (also can be found on our website)! A gift table will be available at the venue, and you’re also welcome to send gifts ahead of time through the registry or to the return address listed on your invite. Your love and support are the greatest gifts of all!🥳🥳🥳

Question

Are there places to stay in the area?🏨🛎️

Answer

Yes! There are multiple lodging options nearby in East Lansing and Okemos. Both cities are about a 15-20 minute drive to the venue! Uber and Lyft are also active in the area. Please visit the travel page on this website to learn more about lodging options!

Question

Venue Access

Answer

The venue does not allow guests into the ceremony space until 15-30 minutes before the event begins. Please keep this in mind when planning your arrival.

Question

Beware! Construction galore! 🚧

Answer

There is ongoing construction in the area that may cause delays or detours. We recommend: Leaving a little earlier than planned. Because of the format of the venue, it's hard to sneak in the ceremony after it starts. Using Google Maps or Waze for the most up-to-date directions Following posted signs carefully if detours are in place We’ll update this page if anything changes! We hope most of the construction is wrapped up by October.
