Where is the wedding and how do I get there?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be held at City View at Sterling Square. It is located at 210 N Fulton Ave, Evansville, IN 47710. The ceremony will take place upstairs (elevator accessible) while the reception will take place on the main level. Parking is located on the south side of the building and there is additional parking in the parking lot across Illinois street at Sterling Square.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Due to space and budget limitations, we can't guarantee that younger children (besides those closely related to the bride or groom) will be included on invitations. We encourage parents to plan for a fun night out.

What do we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Since the ceremony and reception are taking place in the same venue, we welcome guests to stay on site. There will be about 90 minutes between the ceremony and reception. During this time, the reception hall will be accessible and there will be hors d'ouevres and beverage service. We have also asked our wonderful and talented friend Brandon McCarty to provide a musical performance during this time. However, you may also choose to pass this time visiting one of many desirable locations close at hand! Downtown Evansville is a short drive away and has a lovely riverfront walk as well as a family friendly playground and park.

Answer

Since we have a lot of out of towners, we recommend booking your lodging sooner rather than later! AirBnb and VRBO have many options in our area but these tend to better accommodate smaller groups. Bally's Hotel and Casino and Quality Inn & Suites Evansville Downtown are the closest hotels to the venue, but there are several more options in the city in every direction. Stay tuned for updates on room block discounts.

While this is not a formal or black-tie event by any means, we encourage guests to wear something that makes them look and feel their best at the ceremony and on the dance floor!
