Are Kids Allowed at the Wedding?

Answer

We love your littles! We are happy to celebrate with our friends and family. However, we are choosing to have a child-free wedding, so we ask that you come out and have an amazing night away from the kiddos. We will not be accommodating and will have no child food options or child-appropriate songs. They will not be allowed in, please respect our vision for our special night!

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive AT LEAST 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Take this time to mingle and get to know everyone! If you arrive right on time, you will not be let into the ceremony, so everything will start on time!

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Semi-formal to Formal Black Tie Optional. We want you to glitz and glam it up we ask that you do not wear any jeans, casual clothing, and no white/white-adjacent dresses, please! But also our wedding will be in summer so take the weather into account as our ceremony will be outside!

Should I Bring a Gift?

Answer

You are more than welcome to bring any gift you like but your presence is more than enough for us! On this website, there is a place to donate to our wedding and honeymoon fund or choose one of the gifts from here! There are two wedding registries from Zola and Amazon.

Can I Bring a Guest?

Answer

Due to limited space availability, we ask that no one besides who was on the invitation attend as we do not have space to seat anyone else! You many only bring a guest if your invitation said guest invited. Any uninvited adults/children will not have a space to sit or food to eat as we are having a limited-guest wedding and will be asked to leave.

Will There Be An Open Bar?

There will be a cash/credit card option for drinks! Bar pricing is $6 for wine, $8 for cocktails, and $3.5 for beer. The venue operates its own vineyard and has its own wine, as well as many other specialty cocktails utilizing home-grown fruits, aromatics, and liquor!

Our hosts at Walker Homestead are amazing and have said that our guests can stay as long as they want to into the night! However, we are planning on having loud outside music down at 10:30-11 and moving it inside until around midnight-1 AM for the end time.
