How We Met

We met Sophomore year of high school; we were instantly friends. A few months after graduation Seth reached out to me via Facebook just catching up, a few weeks later we decided to meet up in town. We picked up right where we left off in high school. It was like nothing changed; this was in August of 2016. We continued talking and hanging out. Then on September 7th, he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes, I had been crushing on him since I met him sophomore year. So, I was Ecstatic when he asked me out. we dated for about 6 months to a year before moving in together. We had talked about getting married before, but we were definitely not ready for that. On October 10th of 2018 he finally proposed to me; on the bridge overlooking the water at Apple Works, which is a place we have been going to together every year multiple times a year, we love it, so it was really special that he did it there and now it's even more special when we take Marlie. I already knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him so once again I instantly said yes. On March 26th of 2019 we had our daughter Marlie, so the wedding was pushed back for a few years. Now that she's 4 we finally decided to make it official. I have been waiting YEARS for this day. To make my best friend my husband. I have lots of friends I consider close or some of my best friends, but he will forever be my number one best friend. I can always go to him and vent, cry, or whatever and he will be there for me, we get along so well sometimes it's like were reading each other's minds. He treats me like a queen and Marlie also. He is such a good father it makes my heart melt. I don't know what I would do without him. I am so excited to spend this day celebrating with our friends and family closest to us.
