Joseph worked with two great friends, Rachel and Chris, to make this day happen. In the beginning of the day Joseph picked up Kennedy and brought her to find a dress for what she thought was a party later that day. Once they found the dress they went to their favorite restaurant, when Joseph randomly asked Kennedy if she wanted to go to a nature park or somewhere pretty to watch the sunset. Joseph proceeded to take Kennedy to the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve. They were walking on the path towards the first shaded area when Kennedy noticed their photographer and good friend Rachel taking photos of them. That’s when she realized what was happening. Their other good friend, Chris, was playing an instrumental version of Kennedy and Joseph’s first dance song. Joseph then brought Kennedy to the seating area where Chris and Rachel had placed photos, candles, flower petals, and candies on the benches. Joseph went along and explained to Kennedy what each picture represents in their life, how much he loved her, and how much he wanted to be with his best friend forever. He then got down on one knee and popped the question with a Cinderella Disney themed engagement ring, Kennedy of course said yes! Which brings you here!
