We first met in August on the first day of our senior year at Warsaw Community High School. Despite having countless mutual friends and many opportunities for our paths to cross, we somehow didn’t formally meet until that day—sitting in the back of our senior Economics class. Talk about God’s perfect timing. Through casual conversations between lectures, a friendship began to blossom. After a spontaneous date that included a playful tennis match—where Jeremy claims he let me win—and a stop for ice cream, it quickly became clear just how much of an impact we were to have on each other’s lives. Fast forward five years, and here we are! After doing long distance all through college—juggling busy weekends filled with track meets, family gatherings, and six-hour drives just to spend what felt like only a couple of hours together—we would then spend our summers growing stronger and more in love each day back home in Warsaw. Now, we’ve finally made it to this moment, and we wouldn’t change a single part of the journey.
